Thru the rift and over the valley

Our world is dying and the high council has called out to all the learned men to submit ideals to save our people. Three years ago a theorist asked for audience amidst the violent land tremors and the mana storms. This stranger met with the council and posed a single question before simply walking away:
"Where had the Creators come from?"
He left the city that night. No one could find traces of him anywhere. For the seven days, this strange theorist was no were to be found. For seven days a small group of the sages gathered by the council thought upon this mans question. None of us could doubt the strength of this quriosity in this time of peril. Our world was dying and we must find a solution before our people die with it. The Creators were not native to this world, in fact we have yet to find any signs of them anywere else on this world besides our great city. Out of the twelve sages that were conciened to unravel this riddle, six of us held strong to the ideal that the Creators sailed the stars to this world, while five others thought the Creators has managed to travel the Eather to reach this lush land. I was on the fence.

On the seventh day after the stranger's appearence he came back. We sages were further debating the possable technologies that we could employ to follow the Creators thru the stars or thru the eather. The Stranger entered the auditorium we occupied. He asked us to follow him and without giving us time to debate he walked back out. Compelled by professional curiousity we all followed. He lead us out of your santuary from the ravaging weather and two mile south-west to a clearing were a mana storm was going to cross. He stopped and turned to face us. In the pouring rain he met the gaze of each and every one of them. Then without speaking a word he picked an apple from his cloak and tossed it right into the center of the vortex created by the traveling storm. The apple was smaller than the patch of calm in the raging torrent. Something previously unobserved happened. We could have never had projected that on our own. Instead of beeing tossed around by the chaotic winds the apple flew straight and true, hit the vortex and was swallowed by it. In our amaizement none of us learned men noticed the stranger leave. we huddled together and pondered on this new bit of information as we made our way back to the safety of the auditorium.

Once safe and in dry robes, we all agreed. We knew what must be done to save our people.
