Infection

So, I went to the hospital and found out that I have a chest infection and a minor fever. Last night my tempererature was at 103 degrees -not feeling good would be an understatement.
The whole week before that I've had my kids and my girlfriend at my place because the weather mimiced what my internal temperature would soon be. To be honest it was nice having them over. Kent and Mindy [roomies] had someone else to converse with Nethanial [roomies' male spawn] had someone to play with.
I called in sick to work Wednseday -my boss seemed agitated with it, althought I think he was more agitated with the fact that he's captining a sinking ship. So I call in today [thursday] and talkped to George the AMP [Assistant Manager of Production] (a position I am vieing for) and he told me to stay home and bring in a Dr.'s note. This is the first time I've ever had to use a Dr.'s note for work. This is the first time I've been at a job long enough for the use of a Dr.'s note.
So, now I am taking clarithromyc and fluticasone propinate/salmeterol for about a month. The fluticasone propinate/salmeterol I will probubly be taking until they come up with something better or until I die.
It's been unseasonably hot lately. Last week it was 98 to 103 (as reference 90 is the normal high around here) I've been longing to move down south to Salinas or Seaside. a whole 76 degrees. Wowzerz.
