Yesterday, I came to work to find out that I was replacing no one. There was no SPC, or PC. I consulted with Dawn and Cory to get the SitRep. I'm riding into hell with my afterburners on full. I have six jobs handed to me, all of them large or last minute. My black and white work horse doesn't have any staples and it doesn't have any toner -it's useless, and no one in the district has a similar machine. All the jobs I had were black and white. I have a new MIT AMP whose trying to implement some ideals I tried to implement (I wish him all the luck in the world).
I only accomplished three of the twelve tasks assigned to me. -joy.
I got home and slept only to wake to a house without AC. Everything was going fine until my mother-in-law called me. I hadn't blown up on anyone. The children were annoying, sure, but won't by much; until she called. The ladies are going to their yearly visit to greatgrandma's in southern CA. The mother-in-law just bought a portable DVD player and wants all the children to have gameboys as well. Well, my eldest had hers confiscated due to a week of really really really bad behavior (she put her nephews nose to a moving circular fan). Before that she was careless enough to leave her gameboy down were the same nephew could use it as bait while fishing in the toilet -ruining the gameboy (it doesn't work now). I told her that I had taken it and she doesn't get another one. Period.
I don't understand what is so hard to understand. Her father took something and said it doesn't get replaced. End of discussion.
Now the mother-in-law is pleading with me not to sell the device as I had originally planned. Instead she says that the gameboy isn't even Alicia's, that it's hers. The gift she game to a young girl doesn't really belong to the young girl! How horrible is that? What kind of lesson does that teach? I am really beginning to dislike her side of the family (excluding great-grandma of course).
I am beginning to realize that the philosophy the whole Freeman family prescribes to: 'No' means try harder sweetheart. I hate that. I really do. I can't wait for the moment when my family is out from under their bad habits.

I've realized that my finances could use a little management. I want to buy a Ford Mustang, or a Mazda RX-8 (although the Mustang gets better mileage). I want to buy an iPod and a Macbook, as well as a PS3 and a PSP. Then there's college -yeah, I'd like to go back to that some time this year. -sigh. There's so much to do and so little energy to do it with.

I really hope my day goes by a lot nicer than yesterday.
Here's to dreams and wishes.
Until next time.
