Another impulse buy

I know, it's not the best ideal in the world, but I went out and bought myself an '88 VW Fox that needs some serious monkey wrenching. I couldn't help it, the flaming skull seat covers were a deal maker, not to mention the free super soaker and tennis racket. Now I just have to get it towed to somewere I can get it worked on. The engine manifolds look like they need some work. I think is was a good deal for a v4 on a slant-stick. I just need a commuter until my Chrysler gets out of the shop (which could be never).
